Hand skills, communication, clinical judgment, work ethic — write down every quality your SOP highlights about you.

Ask yourself, honestly, what each recommender will actually grade
For each claim, think about what your specific recommenders would realistically score you on the new 10-point graded format.

Drop or reframe any claim a recommender cannot back with a high grade
If someone cannot confidently grade you high in an area you want to highlight, they are the wrong recommender for that claim — lead with strengths they can support instead.

Re-read your file as if you were the committee
Does every document — statement, CV, letters — tell the same story about who you are? If yes, the committee trusts all of it.

What if none of my recommenders can grade a strength I want to highlight?
