We Track Every Question You Answer, and How Long You Spend on It
Knowing the answer is only half of the exam. The other half is how long it takes you to get there. The Study Boards records your timing on every question and compares it against other candidates, so you can see exactly where your thinking is fast, where it stalls and where time quietly disappears.
A correct answer that takes too long still costs you
A board exam is a long sequence of decisions under a clock. Two students can know the same material, and one still runs short of time because a handful of questions swallowed minutes each. A score alone cannot tell you that. Timing can.
Find where time disappearsSee the exact questions where you spent far longer than you needed to.
See how others handled itIf other candidates answered quickly and you did not, that gap is worth understanding.
Change how you thinkYour timing shows how your thought process runs, so you can correct it before exam day, not after.
Every question, second by second
When you take a test, we do not just store your score. We keep the detail behind it.
How long you spentThe time on each individual question, not an average across the test.
What you answeredCorrect, incorrect or skipped, for every question you saw.
How other candidates didYour timing sits next to the timing of other students on the same question.
Where you standYour rank among the students who took the same test, shown in your Test Results.
One question, two thinking speeds
This illustration shows the idea. The numbers are examples only, not a real student’s result.
Time on one question
148 s
62 s
You took more than twice as long as others on this question. The useful question is why: did you not know it, did you doubt a correct answer, or did you reread a long stem?
How to read your timing
Tap the pattern that matches what you see. Only that answer opens.
I took much longer than others, and I got it wrong
Likely a knowledge gap
You searched for an answer you did not have. Go back to the Module page that teaches the topic, learn it properly, then redo the question later.
I took much longer than others, but I got it right
Likely shaky recall or second-guessing
You got there, but it cost you time. Ask yourself whether you doubted a correct first instinct, and review the topic until the answer comes quickly.
I answered faster than others, but I got it wrong
Likely rushing or misreading the stem
Speed without accuracy is a warning. Slow down on the first read, and look for the words that change the answer, such as NOT, EXCEPT, first or most likely.
I took about the same time as others, and I got it right
You are on track
