WHAT IS THE DLOSCE
A Virtual Clinical Exam, Taken on a Computer
The Dental Licensure OSCE is run by the Joint Commission on National Dental Examinations, part of the American Dental Association. There is no patient and no manikin. You sit at a Prometric computer and work through patient cases on screen: the history, the findings, the images, sometimes a 3D model you can rotate. Every question asks what you would actually do.

How We Structure Your Practice: Simple to Complex
We don't throw every question format at you on day one. Your practice is sequenced deliberately, so you build real confidence before we raise the difficulty.
Foundation Stage
You start with standard board-style questions — four or five options, one correct answer. The goal is simple: train you to confidently pick the single right answer before anything gets more complex.
Advanced Stage, Later In The Course
Once you've solidified the fundamentals, we deliberately raise the difficulty: questions with eight to ten options instead of four or five. Some still have one correct answer, others ask you to select more than one correct option — matching the DLOSCE's own extended-option and multi-select formats.
This progression is intentional. Mastering the basics first, then adding more options and multi-select complexity later, builds the same judgment the real DLOSCE demands — without overwhelming you on day one.
The difference students feel first: a real person answers you
Most platforms have now put a chatbot in front of their students. You type a doubt at midnight and a machine writes something back.
