My Top 5 Tips REVEALED
We all have 24 hours in a day, but what you do in those 24 hours makes the difference between your success or failure at reaching your goals.
There is so much great advice available but the hardest part has always been IMPLEMENTATION.
You can read loads of great articles and collect the best recommendations but if you don’t apply any, then it’s all wasted time.
To make a difference we need the skills to put the wheels in motion.
These are some of my favorite tips I learned right after college that are still true today.
Tip # 1:
Wake up early to have time for yourself and get your personal things done. This is the best time to dedicate your thoughts to your most important work or studies, before your mind is cluttered by the stress of the day.
Tip #2:
Make time to get your exercise every single day. My favorite is yoga and tennis. An incredible day is when I can do both.
Tip #3:
Write down your goals along with some known milestones for achieving them. Check in every day to see what you can do to get closer to the next milestone. As long as you do something every single day towards your overall goal, consider it a win.
Tip #4:
Hire a Mentor or a Team to help you avoid mistakes and save loads of time working out unknown problems. A coach or experienced team can prepare and guide you through the unexpected. I learned this the hard way and now I value my time over trying to figure it out myself.
Tip #5:
Birds of a feather flock together. Be around people who think like you, aspire like you and are driven like you. It is a lot easier to run surrounded by strong race horses like yourself than it is when you’re stuck in the middle of a herd of cows. (Don’t get me wrong, I love cows , just not when I am focused on reaching my goals)
